Dr Judith Bourne on Helena Normanton and Magna Carta

In February 2015 I interviewed Dr Judith Bourne for my ‘Many Lives of Magna Carta’ project.  As biographer to Helena Normanton, she offers a unique insight into the mind of a woman who was determined to achieve her goals and not deterred by artificial ceilings.  Helena looked to the Magna Carta for justice and rights of women, she believed women could change the legal system and make the law a fairer, more equal, for all, women and men.
